Classification

This is a two-day instructor led certification course in English only. The Level 3 Certification Course is the “talent” stage of classification and is targeted towards people interested in becoming involved in the sport as a Classifier at the national and international level (as a “Trainee”) at Recognised Competitions.

The Course focuses on growing a participant’s knowledge of the Classification Rules and Regulations as well as the roles, responsibilities and skills of the Classifiers with a focus at the national and international context.

Certification is valid for the entire 2028 Paralympic Cycle as is foundational to following Classifier Pathway. The Pathway has four (4) stages of development in which participants develop their skills and expertise within the courses and over time through experience at events.
